JV will try out from 3:30 to 4:30.  Varsity will tryout from 4:30 to 5:30.  Both tryouts will be in the gym and wrestling room.  We will make cuts after each practice.  We appreciate the time and flexibility that everyone has put in through tryouts.

Due to the lack of rain we got, the field is in good condition.  We will alter the schedule for today.  The Varsity group will go from 4:30 - 7:00 today.  

JV will remain from 3:30 - 6:00.  

Tryouts will be outside today.

Wednesday we will again start at 3:30.  We will finish at 5:30 if inside.  If by chance we can get outside it will be 6:30.

There will be Baseball Conditioning on Thursday 2/17 at 3:30.  Players should bring turf/tennis shoes and their glove.  The conditioning workout should last about 75 min.

There will be a workout on Thursday at 4:00 at Chantilly for students interested in baseball.  All students looking to participate need to have registered in r-school and have a physical turned into the Athletic Training Room.  Students should have turf/tennis shoes for the workout.   We will not use cleats.  All other baseball gear is recommended.  The workout will last roughly 2 hours.  

The Baseball Program (JV and Varsity) will have a Parent Meeting concerning tryouts on Wednesday 2/9 at 7:00.  I will post a zoom link to the Baseball News webpage on Wednesday.  We will discuss the upcoming tryouts and requirements leading up to the 21st.  Please email Coach Ford (kjford@fcps.edu) if you have any questions.

Baseball Tryouts will begin on Monday February 21st. 

All students interested in trying out must have all their paperwork turned in by Monday Feb. 14th.  This includes: Registering in R-School, VHSL Physical, Concussion Ed Completion, Emergency Care Card filled out, and Vaccination Card or Exemption turned into the Activities Office.  

Tryouts will be 3 days minimum but could be up to 5 days and are open to all eligible students.  Times will vary each day depending on weather and access to facilities.  Plan on pitchers and catchers trying out on the morning of the 21st and then having another session in the afternoon with everyone else.  Times will be posted as we get closer to tryouts.  Players will be seen by all coaches who will use an evaluation sheet as a tool to make decisions.
