The Chargers survived an onslaught of big plays to defeat a very tough Annandale team while on the road. 

The offensive line continued to establish itself as a key to Charger success as the team controlled the line of scrimmage and managed to rush for over eight yards per carry en route to accumulating a total of 347 yards on the evening. The Chargers amassed 460 total yards of offense on the night as Roger Strittmatter threw for 103 yards and a touchdown.  Torrian Pace scored twice as he led all backs with 212 yards on just sixteen carries.  Kevin McGrath added 113 yards of offense and Tight End Mike Ryan was the Chargers leading receiver. 

The Charger defense pestered the Annandale offense all evening and stifled the Atom ground game.  The Chargers were led by senior linebacker Isaac Sine’s seventeen total tackles and senior defensive linemen Sam Dietze and Steve Gombos each added eight. The trio of seniors each recorded a sack as did junior linebacker Billy Pratt. A pivotal goal line stand near the end of the game secured the win for the Chargers.
