Hurricane winds and rain subsided midday and the Chantilly Chargers soundly defeated the Washington and Lee Generals 42-0. The Charger defense set the tempo by scoring two defensive touchdowns. Junior linebacker Danny Lauro returned a fumble for a touchdown and junior safety Kris Martin returned an interception. The Charger defense dominated the line of scrimmage by allowing only 14 yards on 4 carries and 3 completions for 26 yards.

The Chantilly offense was led by Torrian Pace’s 170 yards and 3 touchdowns. Senior fullback Kevin McGrath averaged nearly 10 yards per carry and junior running back Kevin Rudorfer added 80 yards and a score.
