Keith is having a great year and finishing an award winning career at Concord University:

The weather looks good for Sunday so we will have a hopefully quick Field Day at 12:00.  If you have the time please stop by and help us with a little clean up for our facilities and the field.  Here is a list of some things that I would like to get accomplished:

Dugout Clean up

Dugout Padding

Press Box Clean Up

Fence Line Trimming

Bull Pen/Mound Rebuild

Banner Cleaning

Astro Turf Refitting

We could probably use a weed whacker or 2 for the fence line.  We have some shovels, but might need a couple more.  I hope that we can get everything done within 2 hours.  Thanks.

As of Sunday, this is what we are planning on for this week:

Monday - Scrimmage Postponed to Wednesday

                  Practice-3:30

Tuesday - Practice 3:00

                  Parent night 7:00

Wednesday - Scrimmage vs. Marshall 4:30

Thursday - Practice 3:00

Friday - Practice 3:00

Saturday - Scrimmage vs. Battlefield 12:00

Sunday - Possible Field Day

The baseball tryout schedule for the rest of the week is as follows:

Wednesday - Upperclassman  3:00-5:30

                         Underclassman  3:45-6:30

Thursday -      11th/12th grade 3:00-5:30

                          9th/10th grade 3:45-6:30

Friday - 11th/12th grade 3:00-4:30

               9th/10th grade 3:30-5:15

All finish times are approximations.  Varsity and JV cuts will be made at the end of tryouts on Friday. 

PLAYERS NEED TO TURN IN EMERGENCY CARE CARDS.  Coach Ford has received 19 ECC's.  Players will not be able to participate at the beginning of tryouts if they turn them in on Monday.

This is the tentative tryout schedule for this coming week.  Times may be changed due to weather and days may be added thoughout the week:

Monday Feb. 20  11:30-1:00  Tryout-Meet in Gym Lobby  (Players will need running shoes and/or

                                                                                                      turf shoes and a hat)

                               1:00-2:30   Lunch (Players may go home for lunch or bring a lunch and eat in the 

                                                                  gym lobby.  Coaches will monitor any players in the gym lobby.

                               3:00-6:30  Tryout-On field (Players should wear baseball pants, hat and bring

                                                                                 baseball equipment)

Tuesday Feb. 21  3:00-6:30  Tryout-On field

Wednesday Feb 22  3:00-6:30  Tryout-On field
