2016 Summer Team Camp at Chantilly

The CHS volleyball program is excited to bring a team camp to Chantilly. Although attendance is not a guarantee to make the program, all potential players are encouraged to attend. The goal is not only to improve our skills, but to also get an early start in developing the program and team chemistry. The cost is very reasonable for a three day camp and the location at Chantilly HS also makes it possible for the CHS staff to attend where possible. Please see the details using the following links:

2016 Volleyball Tryouts

Tryouts for the Fall 2016 Volleyball team are currently planned during the week of August 1st through 5th. This is the ONLY week that tryouts are held. August 1st is reserved for turning in the mandatory paperwork (see below). Players cannot participate in tryouts until all of their paperwork is acceptable. If by chance you cannot be here on the 1st, you can bring your paperwork on the 2nd, but if your paperwork is not correct, the student will not be allowed to participate. Please note that at this time some forms are not yet available for the 2016-2017 school year. We will post the links or forms as they become available.

NOTE: If you are planning to attend summer volleyball camp, this paperwork must be completed prior to participating in camp.

The paperwork you will need is:

Concussion Education: a parent AND the player MUST take the FCPS online Concussion Education program. A link will be provided to the FCPS website when it becomes available.

VHSL Physical:

The physical must be completed by the student's physician on or after May 1, 2016. It will then be valid through June 30, 2017 and covers all sports. The athletic trainers at Chantilly HS will host a pre-participation Screening in June 2016. Athletic trainers and other specialists can complete the physical for your student during that session. Registration typically opens in April.

Emergency Care Card: Each student will need to complete an emergency care form

Extra Curricular Participation Policy: Each student and parent will sing a pledge to adhere to the stated expectations of behavior.
