Parents and Wrestlers,

Chantilly finished 3rd in the Conference V Wrestling Tournament. Chantilly had the most individual conference champions which includes Mark Stewart at 132lbs, Khalid Shafa at 138lbs, Hadley Horner at 145lbs, Sam Tenaglia at 152lbs, and Sean Pogorelc at 220lbs. We will be sending 13 varsity wrestlers to the VHSL 6A North Region Wrestling Tournament at Fairfax High School on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11.

Chantilly Wrestling Banquet

The Chantilly Wrestling banquet will be Sunday, March 12th from 6PM to 8:30PM at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club (14901 Braddock Road, Centreville, VA). The cost is $10 per person. All wrestlers, families of wrestlers, managers, and coaches are invited to attend. All wrestlers should wear a tie. Dinner will be served buffet style with caesar salad, garlic bread, chicken parmesan, penne pasta, marinara sauce, chef's seasonal vegetable, and cake for dessert. We will be giving out awards and showing the highlight video. Please complete the RSVP form by Friday, March 3rd and submit with payment to Coach Winfrey. Please make checks to Chantilly High School.

VHSL 6A Region Wrestling Tournament

All starting 14 varsity wrestlers will be attending the VHSL 6A North Region Wrestling Tournament this Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11 at Fairfax High School. The schedule of the tournament is below. Varsity wrestlers will be dismissed from school after 4th block on Friday (10:25AM). Varsity wrestlers should complete the Pre-Arranged Absence Form with teacher signatures (6th block and 8th block) and parent signature(s).

Important Information

All VARSITY wrestlers should attend practice the next 2 weeks. Practice is optional for JUNIOR VARSITY wrestlers for the remainder of the season, but highly encouraged in order to prepare for the JUNIOR VARSITY State Tournament on March 4.
The JUNIOR VARSITY State Tournament is Saturday, March 4 at Riverbend High School. This tournament is optional, but highly encouraged. In order to sign-up, and for more information, please click this link: 2017 VACW State Tournament
