Parents and Wrestlers,

Happy Holidays! The varsity wrestling team will be competing at the Governor Mifflin Holiday Tournament this Thursday, December 29 and Friday, December 30. We will leaving on Wednesday, December 28. We need the help of parents to carpool varsity wrestlers TO and FROM Shilington, PA.

Parents, if you plan on providing a carpool, please sign-up using this link: VARSITY ONLY carpool to Shilington, PA on Wednesday, December 29 through Friday, December 30 for the Governor Mifflin Tournament.

We have 14 wrestlers competing. This means we will need at least 5 vehicles to transport the wrestlers. I have 11 hotel rooms booked at the Hampton Inn (1800 Paper Mill Rd, Wyomissing, PA 19610; 610-374-8100). We will need 4 rooms for the wrestlers and 2 rooms for the coaches, so a total of 6 rooms for the team. The other 5 rooms are for parents that are carpooling. I have parent rooms reserved for the Stewart's, Tenaglia's, Pogorelc's, Hardmon's, and Stella Bulimo. Please use the link provided above to sign-up your carpool. I will book more rooms if needed for carpool drivers. Just let me know!

I will create and communicate with you regarding which wrestlers will be in your vehicle. You will be able to leave Chantilly at your convenience on Wednesday, December 28. However, you will need to wait till the conclusion of the tournament on Friday, December 30 to return back to Chantilly.

Reminder, the tournament is at Governor Mifflin Intermediate School (600 Governor Dr, Shillington, PA 19607) NOT Governor Mifflin High School.

Please, we need you help! Here are the top events we need parent volunteers for. The list is in order by priority with #1 being the most important. Please click the links to sign-up! Thank you for all of your support!

1. Visit and recruit local businesses to be sponsors of the 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament (more information below).

2. Volunteer for 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament (Concessions and Admissions) on January 6 and January 7 at Chantilly High School.

3. Food donations to sell in concessions at the 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament on January 6 and January 7 at Chantilly High School.

4. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 11 - Volunteer to work the SENIOR NIGHT Varsity and Junior Varsity Home Wrestling Match (concessions and admissions table) from 5PM to 9PM.

3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament

At Chantilly High School on January 6th & 7th, 2017

Parents, we need your help with fundraising for this tournament! This tournament is one of the biggest in the state of Virginia and we can't do it without you! Our goal for this tournament is to raise fund, through donors and sponsors, to help the tournament run successfully and to establish a scholarship fund in Coach Verciglio's name.

We need your help to visit and recruit local businesses to be sponsors of the 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament. I will be giving all Chantilly wrestlers a packet of sponsorship forms to bring home for you to distribute to local businesses. The sponsorship forms can also be found online here:
