Parents and Wrestlers,
Due to low grades I have changed practice times. For the next two weeks we will have study hall from 3PM to 4PM. Practice will be from 4:15PM to 6:15PM. We will be having math tutors from the CHS National Math Honor Society during study hall.

- Study Hall (All Wrestlers) 3PM to 4PM
- Varsity Practice 4:15PM to 6:15PM
- JV at South County HS (wrestlers should bring their dinner to school)
- Junior Varsity Roster for South County
- GRADES - Not all Junior Varsity wrestlers will have the privilege to wrestle. However, all Junior Varsity wrestlers on the roster should attend this event. Wrestlers should complete homework while at the event.
- JV Bus at 4:30PM

Parent Volunteers
Here are the top events we need parent volunteers for. The list is in order by priority with #1 being the most important. Please click the links to sign-up! Thank you for all of your support!
1. WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14 - Volunteer to work the Junior Varsity Home Wrestling Match (concessions and admissions table) from 5PM to 8:30PM.
2. Visit and recruit local businesses to be sponsors of the 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament (more information below).
3. Volunteer for 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament (Concessions and Admissions) on January 6 and January 7 at Chantilly High School.
4. Food donations to sell in concessions at the 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament on January 6 and January 7 at Chantilly High School.
5. VARSITY ONLY carpool to Shilington, PA on Wednesday, December 29 through Friday, December 30 for the Governor Mifflin Tournament.
3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament

Parents, we need your help with fundraising for this tournament! This tournament is one of the biggest in the state of Virginia and we can't do it without you! Our goal for this tournament is to raise fund, through donors and sponsors, to help the tournament run successfully and to establish a scholarship fund in Coach Verciglio's name.
We need your help to visit and recruit local businesses to be sponsors of the 3rd Annual Joe Verciglio Memorial Wrestling Tournament. I will be giving all Chantilly wrestlers a packet of sponsorship forms to bring home for you to distribute to local businesses. The sponsorship forms can also be found online here:

Skin Infections
We're constantly cleaning the wrestling room and washing all articles of clothing in order to reduce the chances of skin infections. Your wrestler needs to shower immediately after practice at Chantilly and immediately after each competition throughout the season! Please encourage your wrestler to use a washcloth in order to scrub!
If a wrestler contracts a skin infection coaches must be made aware ASAP! The wrestler must see a doctor and the doctor must complete this form: Skin Infection Physician Release Form

- Parent Concussion Education - I realize the online system crashes often, but please keep trying! Parents must complete the concussion education program prior to the student’s participation in high school sports. Parents need only complete the program one time for all their children participating in FCPS athletics if they register each child's FCPS ID number prior to viewing the slideshow.
- Student Concussion Education - I realize the online system crashes often, but please keep trying. Students must complete the concussion education program prior to participating in high school sports.
- $20 for Practice Uniform - please make checks to Chantilly High School. If a student is on free or reduced lunch then the fee is waived.
- Donations of detergent and bleach. We will be washing all practice uniforms each day. Please consider donating detergent and bleach.
- $100 donation to Chantilly Wrestling to support Chantilly Wrestling. This donation to the Chantilly Wrestling program is considered a fundraiser for the program and is not mandatory, but greatly appreciated!
