The varsity wrestling team will wrestle at the Governor Mifflin Tournament located at Governor Mifflin HS in Shillington PA on Tuesday 12/29 and Wednesday 12/30. We will use a parent caravan to drive from Chantilly to Shillington PA. We will need enough drivers to take 14 wrestlers and 3 managers. Please sign up as a driver to and from Governor Mifflin and select the QTY for the number of wrestlers you can safely take in your car.
We will be staying at the Hampton Inn Shillington (1800 Papermill Rd. Wyomissing, PA 19610). The boys will be practicing on Monday 12/28 from 12- 2PM and the plan will be for the parents driving to meet at Chantilly after practice on Monday 12/28 at 2:30PM to depart.
We will also be need of Team food for both Tuesday and Wednesday. The cooler can be brought to the school on Monday at 2:30PM to be taken to the event and will be returned upon the return. Team Food is a cooler filled with items such as 2 cases of Gatorade, 2 cases of water, carrots, spinach, fresh fruit, granola, nuts, lunch meat, whole wheat bread, almond butter, tuna, dozen boiled eggs, and bagels. Fluids are most important, followed by carbs and protein. Please stay away from pre-packaged foods. SIGN-UP HERE FOR TEAM FOOD
Thank you and we are looking forward to a fun trip
