To start off their quad meet on Saturday, the Chargers wrestled the Fairfax Rebel Pride. The Chargers were able to eek out their district foes by a score of 34-32. This match was just the beginning of a 3-0 day for the Varsity Wrestling Team.

The Chargers were led by Senior Captains Lloyd Tenaglia (125 lbs), Daniel Hudson (135 lbs), and Chris Cabe (285 lbs). Tenaglia continued to cement his place atop the Northern Region with a convincing technical fall over his opponent. The Fairfax wrestler did not score a point that Lloyd did not give to him. Daniel Hudson handled his opponent easily, winning by pin in the second period. Chris Cabe had one of the most exciting matches of the afternoon with a 3-1 overtime decision over one of his main rivals for the district crown.

In addition, the Chargers also had wins from Sophomore Wes Litton (119 lbs) and Junior Jack Carlson (145 lbs). Each wrestler won by pin against his opponent.
