Debby Chang fought hard but was defeated by Lauren Palmucci in the Concorde District singles final which took place on Friday, May 9 at Fairfax RC. In doubles action, Debby and Grace Chao lost in straight sets to Fairfax's Palmucci/Montwill. In the consolation doubles final, Chali Temple and partner Katie Poe lost in a tiebreaker to Oakton.
Regional action begins on Monday at Quincy Park for singles and doubles. Debby will play singles @ 3:00 and Debby and Grace will play doubles starting @ 5:00. The girls team will compete in the 1st round of regionals on Tuesday at Quincy Park (Washington and Lee HS) beginning @ 3:00.
