The Chantilly Girls JV Softball team opened its 2010 season with a resounding 16-6 win over T.C. Williams Wednesday night in Alexandria. The Lady Chargers jumped ahead in the first inning with 8 runs and never let up. Kassie Compton and Haley Shircliff led the team in RBIs. Compton drove home 3 runs while Shirclif put up 2 RBIs of her own. Jenny Roser's pitched a solid game in her first season appearance. Roser led the defense holding the Titans to five hits, helping the Lady Chargers secure the win.
