Westfield's Pitching Stymies the Lady Chargers
The Lady Chargers' bats were all quiet on the Westfield front Wednesday night as the Westfield Bulldogs shut out Chantilly 13-0. The Westfield pitchers recorded 13 strikeouts and held the Lady Chargers to just two singles. Offensively, the Lady Bulldogs scored 13 runs (4 of which were unearned) on 11 hits and kept constant pressure on the Chantilly pitchers the entire evening.
Next up for the Lady Chargers is their regular season finale against the Herndon Hornets on Friday night at 6:30 pm in Chantilly.
