On a rainy night, we came out strong in the first half and were able to get several shots while maintaining a majority of possession, but at halftime the score was still tied a 0-0.  In the second half, we started strong but we lost a lot of momentum when Stone Bridge was able to sneak a cross through two defenders and connect far post for the go-ahead goal.  With under ten minutes left it looked like another disappointing loss, but with the help of our stellar defense including a goal saving clearance by Stephanie Dolezal, our team was able to fight back and score two goals to salvage a win.  They were not the most pretty goals, one of them looked more like a rugby score than a soccer goal, but we willed them across the line with determination.  Hopefully we can carry this momentum into our next game against McLean.
