For the first time in 9 years, the Chargers have brought home a Concorde District Title.  It took 100 minutes of hard fought soccer, and sudden death penalty kicks, but in the end Chantilly proved it's strength.  Both teams had opportunities to finish during each half, but the Chargers could not find the back of the net, and junior goalkeeper Lauren Jancuska made several athletic saves.  The save of the year came with under 1 minute to play in sudden death overtime.  The Charger defense was beat by one of Robinson's speedy forwards, and Jancuska came off her line to make an opposite direction kick save.

In penalty kicks, Cortlyn Bristol, Madyson Brown, Kaitlyn Manley, and Katie Menzie all finished with composure.  On the 7th sudden death kick, Lauren Jancuska once again came up huge making a diving high save to her left side.  The Chargers stormed the field and celebrated their victory!
