STONE BRIDGE HIGH: 2
On a rainy senior night, the Chargers came out a bit too slow against a strong Stone Bridge team. The Bulldogs scored their first goal of the night off a good strike about 25 yards out. In the second half, Stone Bridge capitalized off a poor clearance effort by the Chargers, and made the game 2-0. The second half was a much stronger effort by Chantilly and they had 7 of their 8 shots on goal during this half. Unfortunately, nothing would fall for the Chargers and the game ended in favor on Stone Bridge. Great job to all the seniors, but especially the Player of the Game, goalkeeper Jess Stillwell, who posted 13 saves on the night. Jess was a steady presence in goal and was the most consistent player in the game. Next up, highly ranked McLean Highlanders tonight at 7 PM.
