The Chantilly Chargers defeated the Stone Bridge Bulldogs Monday night, 6-2, in a game which was actually started on March 30th. Too much rain that night forced the game to be called after 2 innings. At the end of that evening Chantilly had led, 4-1. When the game resumed on May 2nd Chantilly pitching allowed only one more run, while Charger bats added 2 more.

Charger offense exploded early in the first inning (March 30th) when the batting order batted around, scoring 4 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks. In the 3rd inning (May 2nd) Sonny Romine scored on a single, a passed ball, a ground out by Tom Wood, and a reach-on-error by Jake Acosta. In the 4th inning a single by Collin Ryan, two groundouts, by Ben Langford and Brian Morrow, and a passed ball allowed Ryan to score. In the rest of the game Chantilly left 4 runners on base. In all, the Chargers stranded 9 runners.
