The Chantilly Chargers defeated the Centreville Wildcats Monday night, 9-1. Charger bats and a complete-game 3-hitter by Caleb Reinhardt both contributed to the win.

Chantilly scored twice in the 3rd inning on a double by Collin Ryan and consecutive singles by Ben Langford, Kevin Johnston, and Brian Morrow. In the 4th inning every Chantilly player reached first base safely (5 hits, 2 walks, one error, and one fielder's choice), scoring 6 runs. Chantilly picked up its final run the 6th inning. After Ben Langford led off by being hit by a pitch, he scored four pitches later on a single by Brian Morrow and 2 fielding errors.

Charger offense was led by Collin Ryan (double, 2 singles, RBI) and Brian Morrow (3 singles, 2 RBI's). Also contributing were Ben Langford (2 singles, HBP), Kevin Johnston (single, walk, 2 RBI), Sonny Romine (single, walk, HBP), Jake Acosta (single, walk), Jamie Danehower (single, sac bunt, RBI), Sam Hellman (single, RBI), and Connor Major (walk, 2 RBI).

Starting pitcher Caleb Reinhardt (7 IP, 7 K, 3 hits, 2 walks, 1 ER, 87 pitches) earned the win.
