Though the Robinson Rams held a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the third inning of Wednesday night's playoff game, a single crack of the bat by Adam Fridy tied the score. With runners at first and third, Fridy launched the first pitch he saw over the fence. It did not touch the ground until it bounced on Stringfellow Road. Unfortunately, the Chargers only scored one more time, and Robinson scored twice. Final score was 5-4, ending the Chargers' season.

Chantilly's only other run occurred in the 4th inning when leadoff batter Sonny Romine singled, stole second, reached third on an error, and scored on a sac fly by Connor Major.

Contributing to Chantilly's offense were Adam Fridy (HR, 2B, 3 RBI, scored), Sam Zimmerman (2B, BB, scored), Matt DeWitt (1B), Ben Langford (1B), Brian Morrow (1B), Sonny Romine (1B, scored), and Connor Major (BB, sac fly RBI, scored).

On defense the Chargers had 3 fielding errors, though Robinson did also. Ben Langford had a web gem stop at 3rd.

Starting pitcher Dan Lawler (6-2/3 IP, 7K, 2 BB, 7 hits, 3 ER) threw 104 pitches, 69 for strikes. Bill Boyle (2/3 IP, 1K, 0 BB, 0 hits, 0 ER, 4/5 strikes/pitches) was the closer.
