In a game that was played over two nights because of a rainout, the Varsity
Chantilly Chargers lost to the Westfield Bulldogs, 7-0. Westfield pitching gave
up only 3 hits and a walk, while striking out 14. Starting pitcher Jordan Johnson
took the loss.
Leading the Chargers' offense were Danny Bates (double, walk), Brian King
(single), and Roger Strittmatter (single).
In 1-1/3 innings Jordan Johnson gave up 2 hits, 1 walk, and no earned runs. He
struck out 2. Bill Boyle pitched 1-2/3 innings, giving up 4 hits, 2 walks, and 4
