On Senior Night at Robinson Secondary School the Varsity Chantilly Chargers defeated the Robinson Rams, 11-5. Though Robinson held the Chargers scoreless for the first two innings, Chantilly came back strong in the 3rd and 4th, when they sent 17 to the plate. Jordan Johnson pitched the complete game for the win.

The Rams scored first in the bottom of the 1st inning on 2 hits. In the top of 3rd the inning, after 4 consecutive Chantilly batters reached 1st base (walk, fielding error, walk, hit-by-pitch), catcher Matt Dewitt blasted a grand slam over the right center field fence. The Rams answered in the bottom of the frame with a run on 2 hits and a sac fly. In the 4th inning doubles by Tim Bollinger and Danny Bates scored another run, followed by another on a walk, a hit-by-pitch, and a ground out. Matt Dewitt added 2 more RBI's on a single to center field. The Chargers shut down the Rams quickly in their half of the 4th on a called strikeout and a 4-6-3 double play. In the 5th a single by Tim Bollinger, a sac bunt by Joe Danehower, and a single by Danny Bates drove in the Chargers' 10th run. In the bottom of the 5th the Rams' #3 batter, Rutger Floyd, hit an (unearned) 3 run homer over the fence in left center field. In the top of the 6th a leadoff double by Matt Dewitt and a single by John Colella allowed the Chargers to score their last run on a 6-4-3 double play.

In 7 innings starting pitcher Jordan Johnson threw 82 pitches, 65 for strikes. He allowed 8 hits, 0 walks, and 2 earned runs. He struck out 4.

Leading Chantilly's offense were Matt Dewitt (HR, 2B, 1B, 6 RBI, scored 2X), Danny Bates (2 2B, 1B, BB, 2 RBI, scored 2X), Brian King (2B, 1B, 2 BB, scored 2X), and Nick Kralles (2 RBI, scored 1X). Also contributing were Tim Bollinger (2B, 2 1B, scored 2X), John Colella (2B, 2 1B), Kevin McGrath (2 BB, scored 2X), and Joe Danehower (sac bunt).
