JV Girls fall short against Westfield

WESTFIELD HS: 57
After falling behind by 10 in the 1st quarter, the JV girls battled back in the 2nd quarter to draw within 4 points at halftime. However, we couldn't overcome the relentless defense of Westfields' guards in the 2nd half and lost for the first time this season by a score of 57-40. Crystal Petrus lead the Chargers with 19 points while Katie Poe and Lauren Jancuska each added 9. Both Lauren Jancuska and Taylor Norwood pulled down 6 boards.
The JV girls will host Falls Church in the final game of the season this Friday at 5:45.
