The Chargers travelled to Independence Golf course for the two day VSGA High School Championships. An elite field of the best of Virginia's public and private schools was in attendance, including 2-time defending state champions Frank Cox and regional powers such as Kellum, Hickory, Deep Run, James River, Jamestown, Westfield, and Carlisle. In two days of driving rain, and of the 19 teams entered, the Chargers were able to finish in the 6th position. Ji Soo Park was the 4th individual low scorer, with a two day total of 1 over par. Fine efforts were turned in by Victor Monte, Matt Litton and Steve Aanstoos. Next week the Chargers have 3 tough Concorde District matches.
