HERNDON HIGH: 169.00
With Captain Matt Litton firing a par 36, and the rest of the team scoring between 40 and 42 the Chargers defeated the Herndon Hornets 158 to 169. Especially encouraging was freshmen Mike Gagne's 40, and frosh tandem Steve Aanstoos and Jack Dargle posting 41's in their first high school competition. Jiye Kim was also solid with a 41. Given that the greens had just been aerated, these scores are impressive and bode well for the rest of the year.
