Mill Quarter Plantation GC was the site of the Chargers' first action of the 2008 season. In a tri-scrimmage with Fluvanna High and Powhatan High the team came through with a 306/320/349 double victory. Leading the way for the Chargers was Jiye Kim with a career best 75, followed by Victor Monte's 4 over 76. Captain Matt Litton and rising freshman Steve Aanstoos carded 78's to round out the scoring. Tyler Chaplin, rising freshmen Mike Gagne, Tim Harwick, and Jack Dargle all came in with 83's. It was an outstanding overall team effort in the initial competition for many of the members.
