The Stallion Invitational has grown to be a premier tournament on a great golf course.  Fresh off the USGA Amatuer Public Links Championship, the course was in great shape and the weather was the best of the year.  It was a stage set for a great day of golf.  The 18th hole was the scene of some rather interesting finishes for the tournament.  The most notable was the putt for birdie to tie the leader at 6 under par that lipped out, securing the idea that this was the most competitive tournament of the year.  The Chargers fell short of first place by 8 strokes, but placed a respectable 2nd place in a tournament of 24 teams, improving the record to 115 - 9.  Below are the results of the Stallion Invitational
